Mein Herz ist Dein Herz

A yielding rind,
soft beneath my fingers
Teases my eyes
With a glow like the sunset.
Divinely sweet scent,
Creeps into my senses, my mouth watering.
Cradling beauty in my hand,
I raise the velvet skin to my lips-
Gently piercing the flesh,
And am treated to a glorious feeling.
My mouth is alive,
Delighted by the saccharine toxicity.
Losing all my troubles
In this very moment, I am closest
To god itself.
My chest pounds as I swallow
This heavenly honey that drips down my chin,
A nectar full of life
Cascading through, coating my throat.
The sun shines down on me,
My toes curl,
Weaving themselves into the grass.
My lips retreat
Wet, sticky, quivering, and slick
And my eyelids flutter open-
Greeting the treat
That I dream in this orchard...
Your eyes,
Your smile,
Your hand in mine,
Most lovely of nature's offerings,
Adored foremost in my heart-
She whom carries the name....
